An important part of the DGK is the presentation of scientific contributions, which offer an opportunity to actively shape the program. Contributions on geothermally relevant topics can be submitted as presentations or posters via the congress website until June 30, 2025. In August, the scientific committee will decide which contributions will be selected and the speakers will then be informed. From September, the long versions of accepted papers can be submitted - ideally by shortly before the start of the congress. Each long version will receive a DOI number via Zenodo. In addition, all accepted papers will be published in the digital conference proceedings in 2026. Below you will find the various options for submitting a scientific paper as well as important information.

Presentation (German/English)

• Abstract with max. 250 words, authors and title not included!
• Duration: 15 minutes + short discussion (approx. 5 minutes)
• Presentation must be brought on site on USB stick
• If your presentation has been accepted, the presenter can register for the speaker rate (only one author per contribution can receive the speaker rate!)

Scientific Poster (German/English)

• Abstract with max. 250 words, authors and title not included!
• Poster in portrait format A0 on site at the conference
• Poster boards and mounting material (pins; adhesive tape not allowed!) will be provided on site
• If your poster is accepted, the presenter can register for the speaker rate (only one author per contribution can receive the speaker rate!)

Science Bar Poster (German/English)

• Aimed at students and young scientists up to the age of 27
• Poster in portrait format A0
• Abstract with max. 250 words
• 3-minute short presentation
• Poster boards and mounting material (pins; adhesive tape not allowed!) will be provided
• Presenters receive free congress participation

Notification of speakers: from 08.08.2025

Deadline for submission of the long version: if possible by 31.10.2025
