The venue is the Haus der Technik in Essen in Germany, a renowned and established conference centre with optimal rail connections.
Over three days, visitors can expect around 200 lectures in the form of three to four parallel forum and workshop strands, as well as exhibited posters and short poster presentations.
Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 October are the congress days, Thursday 19 October will be the workshop day.
