Dr. Will Pettitt is Executive Director of Geothermal Rising, formerly the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC). Geothermal Rising is a non-profit professional and trade association that was established in the U.S.A. in 1972 and today has over 1200 members in 44 countries. The association supports and promotes geothermal energy to a wide audience of government, industry, academia and the general public, through communication of robust research, knowledge and guidance. Will is an applied geophysicist expert in subsurface science and geomechanics. Before leading Geothermal Rising, he managed consulting companies in Minneapolis and the United Kingdom.
