Malcolm I. Ross
Malcolm is a Ph.D. geologist who spent the last 13 years at Shell, 6 years of which were spent in R&D for upstream exploration technology (mostly geophysics), 4.5 years as a GameChanger (a program that identifies, nurtures, develops, and graduates disruptive energy technologies), and finally, the last 2.5 years as the “Black Swan Detector” and Subject Matter Expert for Geothermal Energy Development in the New Energies Research and Technology Team. After retiring, Malcolm joined the Geothermal Entrepreneurship Organization (GEO) at the University of Texas at Austin to help with the identification and mentoring of promising technologies and companies in geothermal at the University of Texas.
